On December 5th 2013′ Nelson Mandela the most famous symbol from of anti-Apartheid struggle died. For many he represented a dream of a new country and hope for a better future. Twenty years after Apartheid ended the reality in South Africa is not much better and for many people in the lower class it is much worse. These pictures are from Cape Town and were taken the week following Mandela’s death. In a rare occasion people from different communities joined together to say goodbye to whom they consider to be the father of their nation.
